Honda file

For 1989 the standard XLR250R picked up the Baja's rear disc brake and moved onto the same MD22 type designation, while keeping its smaller headlight. The 28 PS RFVC single, six-speed gearbox and 21/18-inch wheels carried over. Dirt Rider's 1989 test of a grey-import example found it quick, nimble and dependable off-road, if a little short of low-end pull because of its tall gearing.
